The “Pel di Carota” of the Italian song is still at the top of the charts in 1964 with “Che m’importa del mondo”, which goes crazy at no.1.
As it often happened in the 60’s, both sides of the 45 rpm reached success, this song in fact was the “B” side of “Datemi un martello”. Both songs managed to enter the HitParade of the year.
In addition, this song, compared to the “A” side where Rita was dancing with a wild surf, is a sweet and whispered song, a classic love tune that, for its originality, was included in the soundtrack of the film “La noia” starring “Catherine Spaak. The song is contained in the album “Non è facile avere 18 anni”.
