A scientist escapes from China to go to the United Nations and reveal to the world that his country is in possession of the atomic bomb. However, the secret services of the countries behind the curtain manage to shoot down the plane in which Fu Ciu Yen, the scientist, is in the Italian sky and is admitted injured to a clinic. In Rome, the secret services of many powers immediately set out to search for him; but all attempts are foiled by agent Robert Kent who, overcoming all obstacles, manages to bring the professor in an American submarine off the Italian coast. However, Robert’s efforts prove to be in vain, for just as he has reached the end of his ordeal, the newspapers announce that China has detonated its first atomic bomb.
