“Solo tu” was the soundtrack of the movie “Rita, una figlia Americana” interpreted, besides Rita herself in the part of the daughter, by Totò in the role of the father and by Enzo Cerusico in the role of the boyfriend.
The motif is a declaration of love to her boyfriend, because only he exists for her. In the weekly HitParade it arrived at the 5th place and in the annual HitParade it was placed among the first 100. The tune is contained in the album “Stasera Rita”; it was also recorded in Spanish.
