Professor Cummings, a historian and respected scholar of the Holy See, has just completed a study concerning the treasure of St Peter’s but has no intention of sitting on his hands. In fact, the man has become obsessed with the object of his research and asks a gang of expert robbers for help in stealing that very sacred relic. The fact that Cummings is blind is not a problem and the plan seems to be going well, although a series of circumstances end up complicating things.
