Concert in honour of Pope Leo XIV

Saturday 18 July, at 9.00 pm, in the courtyard of the Apostolic Palace at Castel Gandolfo

The programme for the event opens with a performance of Niccolò Paganini’s *La Polacca*, from the Concerto for Violin and Orchestra No. 3 in E major, performed by the master violinist Marco Rogliano; this will be followed by Rossana Tomassi Golkar performing Norma, an immense love story on the piano, Libera fantasia e variazioni for piano and orchestra, a reworking of Vincenzo Bellini’s opera, written especially for her by Luis Bacalov.
