Two brothers-in-law, one a smuggler and the other a traffic warden, come into possession of a large sum of money, intended for illegal export to Switzerland, after the courier is killed in a gunfight with the border police. The owners of the money, who occupy an important social position, try in every way to recover it, also taking advantage of the policeman’s weak character. The smuggler, after his brother-in-law’s petty betrayal, decides to keep all the money and flee to Switzerland.
