In London today. Alan is an elementary school teacher by day, a DJ in a hospital by night. Beatrice, arrived from Italy and nicknamed B. Monkey, robs jewelry stores with other friends. Beatrice sees Alan in a bar, approaches him, they spend the night together but he has some difficulty in their love affair. They then spend a few days in Paris, and there everything proceeds normally. When they return, Frank, the boss for whom Beatrice works and to whom she has said no to further robberies, has had the house of Paul, the friend with whom the girl lives, turned upside down. Alan also exposes himself to the point of being fired from school. The violent intervention of Beatrice and Bruno, his other friend, allows him to be rehired. However, in exchange for this help, Beatrice agrees to participate in one last job. Things go awry, Beatrice shoots one of Frank’s men who vows revenge. Beatrice takes refuge with Alan, who has been transferred out of town. Here arrive Paul, Bruno, Frank. Bruno, characteristically the most unstable, cannot stand the situation created. In love with Beatrice, he shoots first Paul, then Frank, then moves away. Alan and Beatrice are now alone. She says: “Who would have thought to find happiness in nothing?”.
