“Il sosia”, “Memorie dal sottosuolo” and “Una brutta storia” are Dostoevsky’s so-called “ministerial novels”, those whose protagonists are civil servants caught in all their social and inner turmoil. The three long stories are adapted for TV in the four episodes of ‘Il lungo viaggio’, broadcast between October and November 1975.
