Nessuno torna indietro is a 1987 four-part screenplay directed by Franco Giraldi, loosely based on the novel of the same name by Alba de Céspedes published in 1938.
In Rome, on the eve of the outbreak of the Spanish Civil War, a group of university students stay at a girls’ boarding school run by nuns. Each of them will embark on her adult life amidst desires for emancipation, ambition, love, sex, ambition, frustration, disappointment, death and success.
