I Musicanti is an album by the vocal group Ricchi e Poveri, published in 1976. With the songs entitled I-o bao coccodè miao and Il mio canto, included in the 33 rpm, the Ricchi e Poveri participate that year, for the fifth time at the Sanremo Festival. The two songs presented at the Ligurian event are combined in a 45 rpm, published with the collective title of 2 storie dei musicanti.
This new record project, mainly addressed to children, consists of a musical fairy tale inspired by the story of the Grimm brothers The Musicians of Bremen.
During 1976 a second single is released, containing two other songs taken from the album, Storia di una gatta, on side A, and La città dei desideri, on side B. Subsequently, will be released other 45 rpm all made by the label Fonit Cetra for the series SPB (music for children).
